An exploration of the writings of

Watching all of you
achieve
with apparent ease
while I struggle
merely to speak

The words keep coming
but I still
have a tendency
to keep them for me

Waiting for
the invitation
that all of you
already knew
was never necessary

I’m still expecting
some kind of order
to be revealed to me

I’m still waiting
For the rules
to be taught to me

I still believe
there’s some answers
I must be missing

And experience
has taught me
that rules mean nothing
when they’re something
you’re always breaking

And maybe it doesn’t matter
if the path
I’ve made
is meandering

And then it won’t
make a difference
whether you’re with me
or against me;
or whether you’ve heard of me

Watching all of you

The words keep coming
